Simply awesome

School: 5, Host family/Student residenz: 4, Learning success: 5, Activities: 5, Value for money: 4

I attended the EF school in Brighton with my brother from the 19th may to the 11th july. The school is simply awesome. Teachers are skilled and nice. Classes are really interesting and consist mostly in speaking. The staff is great too: everyone is really nice and friendly and this make the activities really funny.

I chose the host-family because I thought that living with native english people would have been useful. Firstly they sent me to a family made up of 3 people: a 27-years old mother and her two sons. The house was really dirty and messy so my brother and I decided to complain about the situation to the apposite office at school. The immediately found us another home stay and so we moved to this new one. The second home-stay was really better. We were 5 students and the host-mum with her dog. She was really good in cooking and always available to talk with us about everything. She even took care about us when we were sick or sad.

I started the school with the B2.3 level, after 3 weeks we made a progress test and so I reached the C1.1 level. At the final test I achieved the C2 level which is the highest level you can reach in this school. My speaking is really improved with this school and of course I learned things I didn't know before.

Value for money: Comparing to other English schools, the EF is not that expensive. I paid about 4800 euros for 8 weeks and this included: breakfast and dinner everyday at the home stay and all the meals during the weekend.

The best thing of this experience certainly is the giant amount of new friends you'll have.

I'm really glad I chose this school, it was the best experience of my life. I'll never forget it.
