one of the best memories of my life

It's already been two years since I did the language course abroad in Miami, but I still can say that those 4 weeks were the best in my life. I traveled to the United States by myself, but made many friends in no time because I was surrounded by students from all over the world 24/7.

EF Miami Beach offered a lot of activities for a very good price. I went to Orlando (Universal Studios, Disney World), NASA's Kennedy Space Center, Key Largo (snorkeling) and to many other places. They want you to have the best time of your life, and they succeeded.

Though I had a lot of fun, the main goal was not reached. My English did not improve very much, only my speaking got better. But the thing I was most annoyed by was the transfer. Somehow they didn't receive my arrival and departure times from the EF office in Zurich, that's why I had to wait about two hours at the airport until someone picked me up. Also, the bus that should bring me back to the airport 4 weeks later arrived one hour too late at my school. I was in a hurry when we arrived at the airport, so that I forgot one of my bags in the bus.. of all things, it was the bag with my cell phone and passport in it. Luckily I was allowed to call the principal of the EF Miami school with a phone at the Check-In desk. The bad news were, however, that the bus with my passport in it is on the way to Fort Lauderdale and wouldn't be able to return to Miami International Airport in time. Yeah, and this is the story of how I missed my flight. Fortunately, EF apologized by letting me stay at the campus for another 2 nights for free until I finally managed to go back to Switzerland.

But in a nutshell, my stay at EF Miami Beach remains one of the best memories of my life.
